To maintain the belief and tenets of the Ethiopian Orthodox faithful who have emigrated and now reside in Canada, Calgary, to evangelize the new generation born in this country; and to promote and enhance the Mission and Outreach of the Church to all who wish to be enlightened.

To sustain, develop and deliver an effective and far-reaching educational system for all ages and levels, which reflects the apostolic teaching and the Patristic traditions of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church; and nurture and create new and strong relationship with others Citizens and residents of Canada, and spread the WORD.

To work for the educational, material and spiritual development of its members and their families.

To be a humble and hard-working example of service to the community which fosters love and unity among worshipers; to forge a pro-active and positive balance between the desire to cherish Ethiopian culture, traditions and identity, and the rapid influence of culture and modernity in Canada; and to turn the hearts and minds of all to the loving mercy of Almighty GOD through daily prayer and worship according to the liturgy of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church.
